This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
